  • onwettige discriminatie of het faciliteren daarvan;
  • fraude of misleiding;
  • illegale imitatie van een persoon, organisatie of merk;
  • onrechtmatige verwerking van persoonsgegevens;
  • verboden manipulatie van individuen;
  • het genereren van illegale content;
  • het invoeren, genereren of laten verwerken van gezondheidsgegevens of andere medische informatie (PHI), tenzij wij dit vooraf uitdrukkelijk voor dat specifieke account hebben goedgekeurd;

Version 1.2 · effective since September 20, 2026

AI Usage Policy

AI Usage Policy

Version 1.2 — adds an explicit prohibition on processing health data/PHI (sections 4 and 5), unless specifically approved in advance. Version 1.1 corrected an overly broad claim in version 1.0. Version 1.0 described "AI-generated content is always a draft, never sent automatically without human review" as a platform-wide truth. On closer, product-by-product code review this turned out not to be true for every product — in particular, AI Social Media Automation publishes fully automatically, without any human review per post. This version describes the actual behaviour per product, not a desirable simplified platform-wide principle. It also contains the principles for responsible AI use (previously announced separately as the "Responsible AI Policy" — see that page for a short reference to this document).

1. How AI is actually used and sent, per product

Below we explicitly distinguish two different things that can easily be confused: (a) whether content is generated by AI, and (b) whether that content subsequently goes out automatically without anyone reviewing it at that specific moment. Both have been established independently of each other per product.

AI Social Media Automation. You set up a profile once (tone of voice, target audience, allowed/prohibited topics, posting frequency). From that moment on, AI automatically generates a caption and image for every scheduled post, and the platform publishes these without you reviewing or approving that specific post in advance — driven by the schedule you set. There is no "approve this post" step per post. (Publication is additionally subject to a platform-wide, technical switch between test mode and actual live publication; that is an operational setting, not a substantive review by you per post.)

AI WhatsApp Automation. Two separate paths: (i) a direct, individual message can only be sent if you yourself supply the exact text — AI can only show a draft/suggestion for this, which you must adopt or edit yourself. (ii) A WhatsApp template for a campaign can be drafted by AI, but you must publish/approve it once; after that one-time approval the campaign schedule automatically sends exactly that approved text to all recipients in the target audience, without you separately reviewing each individual recipient.

AI Email Automation. Same pattern as WhatsApp campaigns: you must explicitly publish an AI-generated or self-written e-mail template version once before it can be used. Once a campaign is active, the schedule automatically generates and sends that approved content to the full target audience, without review per individual recipient.

AI Review Automation. Two separate functions: (i) the text of review requests and reminders is, unless you have set fixed text yourself, regenerated by AI for each individual send and sent immediately — there is no draft/approval step between generation and sending for these messages. (ii) AI draft replies to customer feedback received are never automatically published or sent anywhere; "approving" such a draft is exclusively an internal status change — you must paste/send the text elsewhere manually yourself if you want to use it.

AI Lead Generator. AI generates lead analyses and outreach drafts (e-mail, LinkedIn message, call script). There is currently no sending or publishing mechanism whatsoever for this content within the platform — "approving" is exclusively an internal status change. You must use an approved draft yourself, outside the platform (for example by copying it into your own e-mail program).

AI Quote Generator. AI generates quote text in fields you can edit; you must always review/edit it yourself and explicitly set the status to "sent" before a shareable link becomes valid. There is currently no automated e-mail or other sending mechanism that actually delivers that link to the recipient — that is currently still a manual step outside the platform.

2. Summary of the distinction

ProductAI-generated?Sending/publication
Social Media AutomationYes (caption/image, outside this platform via the connected automation service)Fully automatic, no review per post
WhatsApp — direct messageOptional (AI suggestion)Requires text supplied by you yourself
WhatsApp — campaign templateOptional (AI draft)Approved by you once, then automatic to the entire target audience
E-mail — campaignOptional (AI draft)Approved by you once, then automatic to the entire target audience
Review — request/reminderUsually yes, regenerated per sendAutomatic, no review per send
Review — reply to feedbackYesNo sending/publishing option; internal draft only
Lead GeneratorYesNo sending/publishing option; internal draft only
Quote GeneratorYesYou must review yourself and explicitly "send"; no automatic delivery to the recipient

3. Your responsibility

For the products/functions where content goes out automatically (Social Media Automation; WhatsApp and e-mail campaigns after your one-time template approval; Review requests/reminders), you are responsible for correctly configuring tone of voice, target audience, template text and other parameters in advance — after activation you can no longer stop the individual generated content on a case-by-case basis before it is sent. For the products/functions where you do have an explicit review/send step, you are responsible for that review before use.

Which AI provider is used for generation is deliberately not visible to you in the user interface — what is made visible is what you receive (generated content), not which underlying provider delivered it. See the Subprocessor List for the providers actually engaged.

4. Reliability and limitations

AI-generated output may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated or otherwise misleading ("hallucinations"). This risk is greater for the products/functions in section 1 that go out automatically without case-by-case review. Never use AI-generated content for factual statements or legal, tax, medical or financial claims without your own prior, expert review of the parameters/templates you have configured. Health data/PHI is never an intended part of AI generation on this platform, unless we have specifically approved this in advance for a given account (see also section 5).

5. Prohibited use

It is not permitted to use the platform's AI functionality for:

  • unlawful discrimination or facilitating it;
  • fraud or deception;
  • illegal impersonation of a person, organisation or brand;
  • unlawful processing of personal data;
  • prohibited manipulation of individuals;
  • generating illegal content;
  • entering, generating or having processed health data or other medical information (PHI), unless we have specifically approved this in advance for that account;
  • any other use that violates the Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Responsibility for input

You are yourself responsible for the rights to, and the accuracy of, the data/content you supply as input for AI generation.

7. EU AI Act — transparency (Article 50, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689)

We have verified this subject against the text of the Regulation itself (EUR-Lex, CELEX 32024R1689) and the official explanatory material of the European Commission, not solely against a secondary summary. Article 50 applies from 2 August 2026 (with a transitional period until 2 December 2026 for certain marking obligations for systems already placed on the market before that date).

Article 50(1) (systems that interact directly with natural persons, such as chatbots): none of our products today conducts a direct, autonomous, two-way AI conversation with an end recipient without an employee of the customer supplying or approving the final, exact message text in advance (see sections 1/2) — we therefore do not classify our products today as this type of system. This position will be reassessed as soon as a product ever gains a mode in which AI independently, without any human intervention, "converses" directly with an end recipient (rather than sending once-approved, outgoing content).

Article 50(2) (providers of AI systems generating synthetic audio/image/video/text must mark output as AI-generated in a machine-detectable way — with an exception for content that has undergone genuine, substantive human editorial review, not merely a superficial/formal check): this is the part where, after honest self-assessment, we name a real open point. AI Social Media Automation generates content (captions/images) and publishes it without any substantive human review per post — on our own reading, that is precisely the scenario for which the exception does NOT apply. For the other products there is generally a one-time, genuine human approval of the template/settings (Review requests are a borderline case: often no review per send, but a one-time configuration of tone/language). We expressly record this as a point requiring additional legal assessment (see also the final report) — we do not invent an exception here that is not demonstrably covered by actual product behaviour, and we would rather adjust our public position than claim an incorrect exemption.

Article 50(3) (providers of emotion recognition/biometric categorisation): not applicable — this platform offers no such functionality.

Article 50(4) (deepfakes; AI-generated text published to inform the public on matters of public interest): not applicable to the content facilitated by this platform (business social media posts/marketing content, no journalistic/public-interest content, and no deepfakes of persons).

8. Changes

As product functionality changes — in particular if an automatic publication path gains a human review step, or vice versa — we update this policy.
